The Reef RV Park Help a Family Drive

I want to make this Holiday Season special for everyone in Rocky Point. I have put together a list of 100 families living near the railroad tracks and the out skirts of town. That is in need of food, clothing, and blankets this winter. This will be the Reef RV Parks 1st annual “Help a family drive” For those of you visiting the Rocky Point area in November and December please stop by the Reef RV Park office to donate you non-perishable’s, new or used clothing for adults or children, and any new or used blankets. We know times are tough for everyone so we want to make it mean something for you as well. When you donate something your name will be placed in a hat for a raffle which will take place in January for:
1 person will win a free four night stay at the reef (see the office for details).
2 persons will receive a discounted rate on your next reservation (see office for details).

The drive will end on December 19th, 2008 to give me time to get everything on a truck and delivered to the families for the Holidays.

Thank you,

And Happy RVing

Are you still accepting donations for food, clothing, etc. for the families you selected during the holidays? We'll be there in a few weeks and can bring some items with us.

Thanks,

We are always excepting donations as there are many families that could use you help. Starting in October we will be helping full-time the people of Rocky Point thru churches and shelters we are getting the program package together with the help of these groups, along with a weekly itemized list of what these organizations need. If at any time someone would like to bring items please do so but keep in mind that the families less fortune that we assist have no water, or electricity or even a gas stove. So when you bring items think camping.
